Potential
information holders identified in different sectors
The sectors identified as being relevant are:

- agriculture
- tourism
- forestry
All identified institutions
(see database) represent information holders in different sectors. In
the database, all institutions and individuals are grouped into four sectors:
government, local government, business and NGOs.
The recently developed
Environmental Resource Center, currently running as a pilot project, also
represents an important source for information about institutions, projects
and, most importantly, quality of water and air. The ERC could be reached
via the Internet, at http://www.erc.org.yu.
Set
of meta-database
A legal framework was analysed and is presented in the
annex. This is a list of ratified
international agreements and conventions related to environmental protection
in the Tisa watershed area in FR Yugoslavia. An overview of international
agreements and conventions related to environmental protection in the
Tisa watershed area in FR Yugoslavia that are in the process of preparation
for ratification are also presented in the same list.
A list of public information on the Tisa River, especially scientific
papers, were compiled and presented in the annex.
The database on institutions relevant for the TRB SDP was developed (see
database). A total of 74 projects/programmes relevant for
the TRB SDP were identified (see
database).
