The sectors identified as relevant are:

  • water management
  • agriculture

  • the third sector (NGOs etc.)

The most important sources of information that was gathered during the preparatory project TRB SDP were in the Ministry of Environment - www.lifeenv.gov.sk, Ministry of Construction and Regional Development - www.build.gov.sk, and Ministry of Agriculture - www.mpsr.sk, and notably from their specialist agencies, institutions, and research organisations such as Slovak Environmental Agency - www.sazp.sk, Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute - www.shmu.sk, Slovak Research Institute of Water Management - www.vuvh.sk, etc.

Much relevant information is available, especially environmentally-oriented, alternative approaches and river basin-oriented. It was obtained from NGO sources (People and Water - www.ludiaavoda.sk, Sosna - www.changenet.sk/Sosna/, Changenet server - www.changenet.sk, Slovak Rural Parliament - www.vipa.sk, Agency for Rural Development - www.arvi.sk, Regional Environmental Center Slovakia - www.rec.sk, Slovak Environmental Network - www.seps.sk etc.)

All listed institutions (see annex) represent information holders in different sectors.
